Typical Day
We believe that the best days are often those that happen spontaneously.

Each month we will have a specific theme that some of our activities may focus on (for example, one month we may look at the world or mini beasties – eurgh!) but we think sometimes even the best laid plans can be swept aside if something more exciting comes along!

We have a very loose guide to our typical day which is determined by the age of the children we are looking after, the weather, how the children are feeling on that particular day and so on. Our main focus is that the children have fun and receive suitable activities to aid their development and meet their individual needs.

Our typical day is something like this:

  • 8am: Meet and greet
  • 9am: Outing/structured activity
  • 10.15am: Snack time!
  • 11.45am: Lunch
  • 12.45pm: Collection time/nap time/quiet time
  • 2.15pm: Outing/structured activity
  • 2.45pm: Snack time!
  • 4.45pm: Dinner

We work closely with mum and dad to ensure that any routines that are already in place remain in place and we are happy to incorporate activities that you may be doing at home (such as potty training or learning numbers) into our everyday routines.

We strongly believe that children need fresh air everyday so you’ll find us out and about come rain or shine; so make sure you pack those wellies! We have memberships to many local activities such as the zoo and we also know lots of other different places around Bristol that the children will love.
